Grow hybridomas the easy way

Hybridoma technology provides a robust and well-established method to produce monoclonal antibodies from even the most complex antigen targets . A diverse repertoire of antibody specificities will be generated from a single immunization enabling researchers and clinicians to select antibodies with optimal properties for their specific needs. The easiest way to grow hybridomas to compare clones is with a G-Rex 6-Well Plate because this is equivalent to many T-175 flasks.

Improvements in cell culture techniques and optimization of antibody purification processes have allowed hybridoma technology to remain a cost-effective method for large-scale antibody production. However, R&D labs and commercial monoclonal antibody producers may often require small but significant quantities antibody up to 150mg. To avoid laborious processing steps and contamination risks, around 40 x T-Flasks can be replaced with a single 1 litre EZ-flask.
